Pickens 8th grade Nettes hosted Dawson County in a home region contest. After the first quarter, Pickens led Dawson 12-6. The Nettes continued a good offensive first half by outscoring the Lady Tigers 10-6 in the second quarter. Pickens would take a 22-12 halftime lead. The third quarter saw Pickens out score Dawson by 2 to take a 30-18 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth, quarter Dawson County got the hot hand and outscored Pickens 10-2; however, the Nettes were able to hang on winning 32-28. Brylee Deering and Ellison Steinhauer were leading scores for Pickens scoring 9 points apiece.
