The Region 6AAAA Traditional Wrestling Championships were today at PHS. We had 7 wrestlers qualify for sectionals and 2 alternates! CJ Murphy – 1st in 126 lbs Dalton Brunner – 2nd in 195 lbs Zak Price – 3rd in 160 lbs Nate Davis – 4th in 145 lbs Andrew Burrell – 4th in 152 lbs

Congratulations to Chase Nelson for being selected our Male Multi-Sport athlete of the month! Chase was a big part of our football team and is helping our wrestling program now! We are proud of his hard work with balancing school and multiple sports! Congrats Chase!!
Our January Booster Club of the Month goes to the Wrestling Booster Club. They always work hard but this month they hosted a very successful Burnt Mountain Classic and they have the Region 6AAAA Traditional Championships this weekend! We are starting school back this week and our Athletic Department will be in full swing! Varsity Wrestling will be having their Area Duals this weekend at Gilmer. Varsity Basketball plays region games at Heritage (Tues) and HOME v. Ridgeland on Friday High School Swimming is going strong with a meet Friday & Saturday @ Calhoun
